Sleeperwoods Handcrafted Furniture, is situated in White River, South Africa, close to the Kruger National Park. With 12 years manufacturing and export experience, Sleeperwoods continues to maintain their high quality and standards.

Sleeperwoods' unique selections of hand carved accessories are created using recycled African hardwoods. Using 'Old World' techniques, functional and decorative pieces are handcrafted, enhancing the natural beauty and character of the wood.

Rhodesian Teak (deep Burgundy) and Lebombo Ironwood (rich Yellow) are reclaimed from old railway sleepers (ties). Dead Leadwood and Matumi tress are recovered from the African bushveld. With natural weathering and years of exposure no two pieces will be the same.

The unique character and beauty of each product is brought out and enhanced by our careful selection, hand carving, find sanding and applying of generous coats of natural oils.

While using nature's materials, natural cracking could occur and this only serves to enhance the product's character. Our bowls, platters, platters, etc. are food safe and used for salads, snacks, cheeses, as well as potpourri and other decorative applications.
