Zulu Plate 3

This product is handmade by the Zulu, the largest tribe in southern Africa.  They are made from indigenous raw materials.  The Ilala palm is used to weave water tight baskets and the bark of the wild banana (Ncebe) is used for dry storage vessels.  All colors are naturally obtained from boiling roots, leaves, berries and bark of indigenous plants.
